Getting rid of unwanted facial hair is an important part of a woman’s beauty regime.  After all, watching a woman with a hairy face can be a major turn off for (the vast majority of) men.  That’s why there are different options to get rid of facial hair, including the product I am going to review today: the Veet Cold Wax Strips for the face.

I really loved the Veet Cold Wax Strips for the face. Though they are not perfect, they are an excellent alternative to get rid of facial hair and they work as advertised. Be careful not to use the cold wax strips with long hair or the cream will not work.  Instead, first trim any long hair you have and then apply the cream following the instructions.

Using the strips is very straightforward:

-          Warm the oils

-          Apply on desired area

-          Pull the strip in the direction the hair grows.

Additionally, this product can be used effectively I the bikini area.  I know, it’s not advertised in the package but it works. Maybe one day you’ll find this piece of information handy!

Each box of Veet Cold Wax Strips for the face comes with 20 max strips and 4 wipes.  They are very easy to store and use. However, I wish the box could come with more wipes especially those times when you need to use 5 strips each time.  A workaround to this problem is to use baby oil, but some people may find this to be annoying.  Still, it is better than other products that come with even less wipes to use.

If you’ve never waxed before, armpit waxing may sound like a torture associated with the image of waxing we have seen in TV and the movies. Now I’m not saying that you won’t feel a thing, but things are very manageable once you know the right tips and the best products to shave on that sensitive area.  Here we will take a look at both.

Underarm Waxing Tips

Tip 1. Grow your hair a little to have success with waxing.  This may sound counter-productive, but the truth is that waxing is not of big help if we are working with small hair.  The wax needs to properly adhere to the hair in order to then pull it out. According to beauty specialists, the average length of the hair should be of around ¼ of an inch.

Tip 2. Clean the area before removing the hair.  All beauty treatments must be done following a cleansing of the area, in the case of waxing the reason is that sweat interferes with the wax action. Make also sure your skin is free of deodorants, lotions and makeup.

Tip 5. Pull the hair on the opposite direction of the hair growth. Now, underarm hair is not like other body hair where hair grows even in the same direction.  This means that you may have to wax in different directions to get rid of hair on your underarm waxing session.

Tip 6. If you are suing a strip, rub in the same direction as hair growth.  Rubbing is done before pulling the hair off.

Well, at one point I was a starter too and although the first times you won’t have an excellent shave, there are some tips that can certainly minimize the dangers fo this activity while giving you better results. Tip 1: Have patience.  I always mention this point when it comes to male pubic shaving, the reason is that this tip is often overlooked.  I know that we would all like to shave fast without complications down there, but that just isn’t going to happen. So set aside an hour of free time and shave with care and patience.

Tip 2: Take a hot shower before shaving.  A hot shower will open up the pores of your skin all over your body, and although we are talking about pubic shaving here, a hot shower will serve to shave any part of your body.  Using an exfoliating soap will also make shave easier by removing dead cells in the outer layers of the skin.

Tip 3: Take care of your skin after shaving.  Your scrotum area may begin to itch after you shave.  Although some times this happens due to small hair coming out, the itch is aggravated by having dry skin.  Just go out there and grab a moisturizer for sensitive skin.
